As the Principal of St. Matthew the Apostle School, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website. We hope you will find your visit here as welcoming as a visit to our campus.
We are a proud community, a community that is especially proud of our 60 year heritage as a Catholic School. Throughout our 60 years, our children have always excelled academically but, more importantly, have used their gifts and talents endowed by God to make a positive impact on River Ridge and the surrounding areas of New Orleans.
At St. Matthew, we take a partnership approach to education. We strongly believe that church staff, parents, teachers, and administrators must collaborate to provide for the growth we all seek for our children. It is that partnership that keeps us growing as people of faith, a community of learners, and stewards of our community. We accomplish this by studying together, working together, playing together, and praying together.
